This is the time of year we relax and enjoy the weather. after a few months of hard work on our save the date magnet business. we are heading for the seashore, Cape Ann, our favorite place to roam and take photographs. sometime we take the camper and sometimes we just stay at a hotel, depends on the weather. We must go to the ocean a few times a year just to keep our sanity. There’s something about the vastness of the ocean that makes all other thoughts melt in the background.
We are finally getting around to blogging, It’s a lot easier than we thought.

Our Save the date magnet business has dropped off in the last year because of the economy. Well the new year is here and as usual, we are full with orders, as this is the time of the year many brides get an engagement ring for Christmas or the holidays.
Then they are excited about getting the word out. This is great for us because we work hard all winter and then is the spring things slow down.
We get a chance to get our gardens in and really enjoy the summer. We do always have a steady flow of orders because of our one of o kind designs and extreme customer service. Photo-booths are very popular lately, especially the black and white style.

Things are starting to heat up here at http://www.wedding-magnets.com/, As we start to move into our busy season we are getting more and more couples requesting our childhood save the date magnets. they are always fun and challenging. Couples don’t always have good baby pictures that really work together, so our job is to make it happen either by changing backgrounds or doing a total retouching job on one of the photos. One easy way is to change them into Black and White and that gets rid of the color differences. Black and White is becoming more and more popular with save the date magnets.
we are experimenting with some cool new designs with the childhood photo announcements and we will be putting up some new samples shortly.
I can’t figure out why business is slow from April through July? I’m guessing all the summer weddings already have their announcements sent out. We are get busy again in September and this will go right through February. January and February are hectic, we don’t mind there’s not to much to do in the Berkshires in the winter as we don’t ski much any more. It’s really nice because we party all summer long.
Most couples send the Save the dates out six months in advance and especially in the summer months when people plan their vacations. We have quite a few couples that ordered their magnets two years in advance. Most of them where destination weddings and cruise weddings

We have some exciting new designs for our save the date announcements. All of our work is unique one of a kind designs.
Photobooth style magnets:
We can put from three to five images with whatever text you like. All jobs are started from scratch so you can have anything you want.
Childhood save the dates:
These are really unique. We take two childhood photos when you where kids and we can either try to blend them together so the photo looks like you were together back then. Sometimes this can be great but it all depends on the photos you send us, Or we can just put you side by side which seems to be very popular right now.
Childhood and present:
This is a new style not available anywhere else on the web. What we do is take three photos one recent photo of the couple and one each of their baby or childhood pictures and we put the baby photos in frames and hang them behind the couple so it looks natural. We add shadows to make it look better.
Multiple photos:
We are doing a lot of multiple photo annoucements with two to six images. We make all the photos fit together with the right color density and exposure. Take a look at this page: http://www.wedding-magnets.com/
